There has been a linup change for the first Farm- City Days Summer Concert Series scheduled for July 14th.   Supporting act Jack Ingram dropped out and he has been replaced with two acts instead.  Country singer Wade Hayes and the band Ricochet will perform along with headliner Frankie Ballard.  Farm City Days organizers announced the change Friday afternoon saying that the change was due to circumstances beyond their control.  Other than the change in supporting acts, everything else is still scheduled as planned.
Neosho County Commissioners considered resolutions Friday to reorganize 911 dispatching and emergency management.  According to The Chanute Tribune, with the retirement of Emergency Management Director Byron Shultz, Emergency Management and 911 dispatching become separate departments no longer under the Sheriff’s Department.  The commission approved four resolutions to establish the two functions as departments and establish an advisory board.
